Mission Statement |
Did you know that one out of every three bites of food you eat wouldn't be possible if there were no pollinators? Actually, most food wouldn't even exist, were it not for our pollinating partners.
My name is Gianna. I'm a high school student with a passion for nature and an affection for advocacy. I'm also a Girl Scout. I decided to plant my pollinator garden as part of my Gold Award, but it has become so much more than that. I quickly realized that through these plants, I could spread the word about pollinators and their importance - throughout my community, and throughout the world. My mission is to encourage everyone in my town - Ridgefield Park - to plant just one plant that is beneficial to pollinators. This way, we can each do just a little to help nature a lot! |
